BUBS-IN (PRENATAL)

Physiotherapy Pregnancy Exercise Class

Bubs-In is a physiotherapy led reformer-based exercise class suitable for all three trimesters of your pregnancy. Exercises can be adapted to accommodate your changing body and any musculoskeletal complaints you might present with.

Our prenatal Pilates classes will:

  • Strengthen your pelvic floor

  • Involve a combination of Pilates and Physiotherapy specific exercises

  • Provide education on back care during pregnancy

  • Prepare you for activities as a new mum (think holding a newborn and leaning into cots)

  • Prepare you for labour and your postnatal recovery

  • Alleviate common pregnancy complaints including pelvic girdle pain and low back pain

  • Provide safe, evidence-based exercise across all trimesters

All participants are required to complete a pre-class questionnaire and attend a pre-class assessment with a physiotherapist to thoroughly screen for safe admission, assess any current injuries along with learning correct pelvic floor and core recruitment patterns.

Bubs-In classes are all led by Physiotherapists and are claimable on Private Health Insurance.
